ReRun Medical Equipment

Hi, fellow Oklahomans! I hope everyone reading this is safe and healthy. Thank you for taking a few minutes to allow me to introduce you to ReRun Medical Equipment.

Many in Oklahoma are in need of medical equipment while others literally have it laying around their house, garage, or shed collecting dust. ReRun Medical Equipment exists with the mission of getting that underutilized equipment into the hands of people that need it. There is no need for prescriptions, doctors’ orders, or insurance. We are a resource for you and your loved ones for the medical equipment needed when it matters most with no strings attached.

At ReRun Medical Equipment we take in gently used Durable Medical Equipment (DME) like Wheelchairs, Walkers, Crutches, Hospice Beds, Braces, CPAP Machines, BiPAP Machines, Breast Pumps, Back Braces, Knee, Elbow, Ankle, Wrist Braces, Foot Boots, etc. and get them into the hands of the people that need them. Especially now with the effects of COVID19 and many organizations halting most medical equipment orders both temporarily and permanently, the need for reused equipment has exploded! We have run out of a lot of equipment, but continue to look for gently used, unwanted ones to put to good use for those that are in need of them.

To obtain a piece of equipment, individuals contact ReRun Medical to ensure we have what is needed and they will receive it for however long they need it. All we ask for is a suggested donation and a promise to return the equipment when they are done. They receive whatever they need for a weekly or monthly suggested donation amount that varies depending on how long they anticipate needing the equipment as well as what equipment they need. For Example, a CPAP Machine is about $550- $1,000 cash, an individual can obtain one from ReRun for $20 per month. If they do not have the means to pay the suggested donation then they receive it for free and a sponsor is found.

Currently, we are focusing on Oklahoma City, Enid, and Tulsa and the surrounding towns. Eventually, we would like to cover the state. We started on a shoestring budget out of my home but have grown to the point that we are in the process of setting up multiple locations in all three cities. The need is tremendous! We have board members in all three cities that can pick-up donations and deliver them within your community to those in need.

Currently, ReRun Medical Equipment will deliver and pick-up equipment and supplies. Once our locations are up and running, we will have scheduled delivery and pick-up days per month. Additionally, you will be able to pick up equipment and drop off your donations. Please visit our website or give us a call for any questions you might have concerning equipment, donations, volunteering and monthly sponsorships.

Thank you,

Edana Koehler, Executive Director
