The CANYON Bar gets a Medicare Jet-Setters Groovy Review

After a productive day shopping at the Allen, Texas Outlet Mall, going to a high school football game, and eating a delicious meal, don't go to bed. Go to The CANYON Bar.

The CANYON Bar is the friendliest in Texas! Kelly, the bartender, told the customers sitting at the bar the Marriot's mission is "To enhance the lives of our customers by creating and enabling unsurpassed vacation and leisure experience."

Kelly, added, "We had a recent training. Our instructions going forward are if we see a customer who looks like they are at an eight or less, do what we can to make them have a nine or ten experience."

Others at the bar were singing Kelly's praises. They said she truly works to enhance each customer's experience at The CANYON Bar inside the Marriott Hotel. It appears if every business should take some lessons from the Marriott to increase customer satisfaction.

The CANYON Bar is sparkling clean and overlooks the swimming pool. In pure Texas-style, the decorations consist of horseshoes, Longhorns, and horses.

They have a large selection of liquors, wines, and fancy cocktails. I asked for a pinot noir from an unopened bottle. Smiling and showing me the uncorked bottle, Kelly opened the Pinot. She treated me to a generous pour, and my wish came true.

Kelly left us with a request to share her dream. She aspires to help make The CANYON Bar turn into Allen's neighborhood bar and hang out. Come on in and relax after work in a friendly environment where conversation flows. The food is good, the beer is cold, and the service and Kelly are groovy.
